From the people who helped bring you Death Note Clan and those who brought you Mostri comes a new take on clans. Long gone are the days of old where clans made tournaments, warred and hell..even the days when the majority of people in a clan played N-A. The landscape has changed, we have enough over the top clans who are less about the individual and more about the whole. Those clans have their place, and we’ll carve a place for ours.

Wicked Apathy isn’t about anything more than 3 friends who have been together since the start, looking to make something uniquely enjoyable. Somewhere that anyone with a decent attitude can come, hang out and feel no pressure to do anything than be themselves and enjoy the people around them. Hell, we really don’t care if you enjoy them as long as everyone can remain civil.

You may say “well there’s a few other clans out there with that sentiment.” To which I agree. There are clans “like” this, but along the way they get caught up in this or that, the drama takes over or a dormant desire for power or fame beings to rear up. We’ve watched it happen, we’ve been a part of it in the past and we have no desire to ever be part of it again.

The founders..well they’re quite a unique gathering. To sum it up in a nice little package, Red’s a dick, Jon’s a spic and Chem’s a prick. Together they’ve made up the majority of the leadership for both DNC and Mostri, 2 relatively successful clans that gained them absolutely no popularity (mission complete). Their constant desire to remain under the radar (Jon was a bit of a war whore for a bit) created a bond between the three of them and they’ve yet to be separated over the past 2 and a half years.

Together, they share a desire to create a clan that isn’t about being anything special. It isn’t about “BEING THE BEST IN DA WORLD!!” or reaching a particular ladder spot. It isn‘t about gaining 100 members or reaching 500 thread pages in record time. It isn‘t about being relatively known and liked or revered and hated. It’s about 3 friends who just don’t care to be a part of anything else other than a good time. If we find a few more people to add to the bunch..good stuff. If not, well at least we can have a bit of fun and piss off a few people in the process.

The Voting system

In this system, you will need to seek approval of the 3 leaders of this clan. With each leader being different, they will have traits they will look for in potential members as well as traits they deem as undesirable.

After applying and spending a bit of time with the clan, the leaders will vote on whether or not to approve you.

If you receive 1 vote yes, you will be placed on trial. This gives you access to the chat but nothing more. You will be on the proverbial “bubble” and will need to continue to try and work towards gaining the second yes vote.

If you receive 2 votes yes, you will be made a full fledged member of the clan. This gives you access to the chat as well as a listing on the thread. You will be given access to the gfx and may even make a request which will be made when there is a lull in all other works. You will be a member on chat as well, but will not advance any further until receiving the third vote.

If you receive all 3 yes votes, you will be given all the benefits of a member as well as being made mod on the chat. Your gfx request will also go further up the list of importance and you may make suggestions as to ideas and the direction of the clan.

On the flip side, this will also be the way for you to become potentially demoted or removed from the clan. If problems arise, a vote will be taken by the leaders and the outcome of said vote will have the following outcomes.

1 vote against you will get you a warning. You will not have any other action taken against you for this particular indiscretion.

2 votes against you will get you demoted from your current position. It essentially drop you down a vote level, mod will become member, a member will drop to trial and a trial member will be removed completely.

3 votes against you will automatically result in banishment from the clan and the chat for a predetermined time period or possibly for good.

The Voters

Red- Not having much restraint, Red is looking for members who know how to take a joke. Lacking the tact to censor himself, you have to be able to separate humor and insults while keeping a cool head. The only active player in the leadership, he also looks for people who are willing to either help out with the clan, the thread or who would be willing to play in the rare occasion it’s called for. If you can’t accept these things, don’t waste his time.

Jon- The most laid back of the group these days, Jon looks for people who are relatively active when on chat or messenger. He is also a big fan of the xbaux360 so if you enjoy fps’ and have live, you’re already on his good side. Always enjoying a good laugh, he likes those with a fun side who don’t take anything too seriously. While being the easiest to please and get a yes vote from, he also has a less than playful side that will quickly find it’s way to voting you out if you cross him or his friends.

Chem- The veteran leader, Chem is laid back one moment and serious the next. The most sarcastic of the bunch and least willing to put up with people’s bullshit, he’s also most likely to sit down and listen to someone’s problem inside or outside the clan. He’s considered himself the “older brother” in his previous clans and looks to continue the tradition in the chat of W-A. You never know what to expect when Chem starts to talk, but when it’s advice directed to you, you’d do well to listen.
